Mr Brady and Ms Kirk, pictured with a student from Guadalaja, Mexico

"The World Languages Department spent time in an intensive language training program this summer in Guadalajara, Mexico. We each lived with a local family and attended language classes together for four hours every day. Pictured are Mr. Brady and Ms. Kirk with a local Guadalajara student during their training program.

English/Drama teacher, Grover Anderson took two graduate-level courses through Indiana University. The first—Teaching Literature in College—addressed designing courses, assignments, and discussions that maximize student engagement and learning while interrogating the generally-accepted concept of 'literature.'  The second course was an in-depth look at four Shakespeare comedies, work well aligned with the Drama program's June visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

U.S. History teacher, Jennifer Truman, was seen Leading a group in an activity about Federalist and Anti Federalist at the Bill of Rights Institute workshop hosted by Sphere Summit: in DC, and spent time in the National Archives Museum."
