Jim McKeon, Bret Harte class of 1989, become a published novelist with the debut of his military thriller, Secrets of Wintertine, in 2023. Prior to becoming a published author, McKeon served in the US Navy from 1992-96, served as an Angels Camp police officer from 2004-18, and is currently a Sutter Creek police officer. The novel's sequel is scheduled to release this year.
