Girls Basketball beat Fortune Early College 55 – 41 last night in the CIF Sac Joaquin Girls Basketball D5 Semifinals securing a return to the section championship game for the third time in four years. Next up… the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section D5 Championship Finals! As the number one seeded team, they will play the number two seeded team Woodland Christian High School this Friday, February 28 at 10:00 AM at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
General admission tickets – adult and student – can be purchased in advance on Ticketmaster. Surcharges may apply. Tickets may also be purchased at the Golden 1 Center Box Office.
The school will be providing our student body with an opportunity to see the game LIVE and fill up the Bret Harte student section. The first 40 students to return a completed permission slip and show proof of ticket purchase will be added to the “rooters” bus field trip list. Permission slips can be found in the school office or at https://5il.co/38u3c. The bus will leave the horseshoe parking lot at 7:55 AM and return to campus at 2:30 PM approximately.
For those unable to attend in-person, the championship game can be watched on the NFHS Network for a fee.
