ENROLLMENT PROCESS
For families living within District boundaries along the Highway 4 corridor (Copperopolis, Angels Camp, Vallecito, Douglas Flat, Murphys, Hathaway Pines, Avery, Arnold, Camp Connell, Dorrington and Bear Valley):
The first step to enroll is to complete the District's ONLINE STUDENT REGISTRATION (OLR). This registration provides the District with student information, emergency contacts, academic and/or health concerns, as well as completing internet agreements. The two-part process generates the ability to create a Parent Campus Portal account for the parent/guardian and the District receives all necessary information to enroll your student.
Within 24 - 48 hours, the registrar will make contact to begin the enrollment process. Uploading and/or bringing all required documents to the enrollment meeting will expedite the enrollment process.
An enrollment meeting will be scheduled with the academic team to build your student's schedule. During this meeting, a new-student packet will be provided and a start date will be established.
For families seeking enrollment based on a parent/guardian's employment within District boundaries or under Allen Bill, refer to the District's Interdistrict Requirements and Transfer Policy.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Birth certificate or valid Passport/Visa
Immunization records
Proof of residency (picture identification, utility bill, lease, etc)
Transcripts from the most recent high school
Court orders, if applicable
STUDENT REGISTRATION: INSTRUCTIONS
Bret Harte Union High School District utilizes an online student registration to process new enrollments. Please follow these instructions to register your student(s):
Go to the Online Registration Link (or you can copy and paste the following URL in your web browser: https://bretharteca.infinitecampus.org/campus/OLRLogin/bret_harte.
Select the current school year. Enter the parent/guardian’s name and email address, then utilize the “Begin Registration” link.
You will then receive and email from bhuhsdshout@bhuhsd.k12.ca.us with a link to begin the process of registering your student(s) at Vallecito Continuation High School. If you do not receive an email after 10 minutes, please check your junk/spam folder.
If you do not have access to the internet, you may stop by the school office to utilize a device to complete the online student registration between the hours of 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
