District nursing staff will be hosting this year’s Bret Harte blood drive on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room.
Why donate, you ask?! “Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and or platelets. Approximately 30,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the US,” per Vitalant Foundation, a healthcare system assisting with this year’s Bret Harte blood drive.
The blood drive is open to staff, students 16-years of age and older, and community members. Donors must weigh more than 110 lbs. The donation process takes approximately one hour from start to finish. All donors will receive a free T-shirt and a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card. Learn more at https://5il.co/38op7.
