In order to preserve the heritage and tradition of athletic excellence at Bret Harte High School the “Bret Harte Athletic Hall of Fame” was created to honor the very best in the history of Bullfrog athletics. This special honor recognizes members of the Bret Harte family who distinguished themselves as outstanding contributors to athletics at Bret Harte High School, and possibly beyond. They have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to, and the promotion of, athletic excellence, character values and good sportsmanship.

Bret Harte Athletic Hall of Fame nominees are considered primarily on their achievements as high school student-athletes and coaches. Character values, during and after their high school years, will be a major consideration. The Athletic Hall of Fame selection committee, comprised of community members, are charged with reviewing and selecting nominees, as well as selecting Teams and Friends of Bret Harte Athletics inductees.

Nominations are now being accepted for future Induction Classes. Nominations can be emailed to the Athletic Director or dropped off to the school office no later than April 1 to be considered for the induction class of the same year.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there was no 2020 Induction Class. Beginning in 2021, Induction Ceremonies will occur every other year.
