 Welcome back from Winter Break! We hope everyone had a restful and joyful holiday season. As we begin the second semester, we're excited about the fresh opportunities that lie ahead for all our students. This is a time to set new goals, refocus, and make the most of the months to come.

 We're thrilled about the upcoming Spring Musical, which promises to be a highlight of the semester. Stay tuned for details about auditions, rehearsals, and performance dates. Winter sports are also in full swing, with teams now competing in league play. Let's show our school spirit by cheering on our student-athletes as they represent Bret Harte with pride and determination!

 As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we'll be conducting school-wide surveys this semester to gather feedback from students, parents, and staff. These surveys are a vital way for us to hear your voices, celebrate what we're doing well, and identify areas where we can grow. Please keep an eye out for details on how to participate-we value your input!

 Additionally, as we review fall semester grades, we encourage all students to reflect on their progress. For those who did not pass required courses such as English, History, Math, Science, or Freshman Requirements, we will be inviting you to enroll in Summer School. This program is an excellent opportunity to stay on track for graduation and ensure academic success in the coming years.

 Let's make this semester one filled with hard work, enthusiasm, and accomplishment. Together, we can continue building a strong and supportive school community.
