Bret Harte was well represented at the annual Tuolumne and Calaveras County Occupational Olympics held at Columbia College on Tuesday, April 23. Bret Harte Fire Tech had an almost clean sweep in fire technology with first, third, fourth, and fifth place finishes. Junior Rhys Kelsey took first, freshman Orion Humes third, freshman Isaac Farias fourth, and senior Liam Gouveia took fifth place.
Bret Harte’s Automotive Tech program also performed well with senior Celine Maddox taking home first place, junior EJ Schwartz third, and senior Troy Dragomanovich fourth place.
Occupational Olympic winners received a $100 Amazon gift card, while second place received $75 and third place $50.
