Junior Brayden Bowersox brought home gold in math at the 46th California Academic Decathlon yesterday March 23, 2025 in Santa Clara. He was part of a three-way tie that scored 914 of 1,000 points possible, and accumulated the most points for the team with 5,934 out of the 10,000 possible. Bowersox joins the ranks of three other Bullfrogs earning gold medals; Owen Gayle ‘24 in speech, Shannon O'Flinn '23 in essay, and Jackson Oliver ’21 in math.
Representing Bret Harte this year were seniors Rae Cox, Carnegie Hall, Cosimo Nesci, Ally Pry, Sophie Smylie, and Stella Stammerjohan; and juniors Bowersox, Gabriel Forjan, and Cheyenne Stephens.
